We could use some advice. We are pregnant with #3 and learned it’s a BOY! We are naming him [name_u]Finn[/name_u] but I’m finding middle names tricky. Our last name is similar to “[name_m]Ford[/name_m]” so there is alliteration, and they are both one syllable. Oh, and we do two middle names! I’m having a heck of a time. I’d like one or both of the middles to be meaningful to us but I’m taking all suggestions because my list just isn’t satisfying me!
Some meaningful names:
[name_m]Joseph[/name_m] (not my favorite)
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Donald[/name_m]
[name_m]Connor[/name_m]
[name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_u]Sonny[/name_u]
[name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is the perfect name to fit with your daughters names.
I think that [name_u]Finn[/name_u] sounds great with a 2 syllable middle. I think using the shortened versions of your list would sound best. For example:
From your list, some combos I’d consider are:
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Connor[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
Some I’ll suggest inspired by your meaningful names
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] -mixing [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_u]Sonny[/name_u]
[name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] - a spin on [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] - [name_u]Evan[/name_u] is a variant of [name_m]John[/name_m], -ander could be a nod to [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] - [name_m]Connor[/name_m] can mean lover of wolves
[name_m]Josiah[/name_m] - inspired by [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_m]Jonah[/name_m] - inspired by [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] and Joh
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is something I never would have thought of, a mashup! [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] too! Thank you so much! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the out-of-the-box thinking! I’d love to hear more if you think of any!
