Middle Names for Jane

Finding a [name_f]Jane[/name_f] combo I really love has proven to be quite difficult, so I’m slowly trying to at least get close to something I really like.

What I’m looking for is a (two middle name) combo that has the same vibe/feel of my other combos; something that feels current yet at the same time like it could or should belong to a girl in the early 1900s.
Something delicate and dainty yet strong.
Something that makes you think of ONE | TWO | THREE| FOUR (audio link)

Some ideas of mine have been:
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] (leo+nora) & [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] but the former feels to plain and current and I’m not sure if the latter two are quite what I’m looking for.

Other ideas have included [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] (also feels too current) and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f].

[name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to play around with the names above or come up with something entirely new; the only thing I’d rather avoid is another one-syllable name as well as re-using names already in my signature ([name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] being the exception).

You’re all so clever, I’m sure you can come up with something that will smitten or inspire me

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]

Thank you!
I really like the flow of the first and last combo, I do like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] but not enough to use it, I think. [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is pretty yet here it’s very much a mum or grandma name and I can’t quite shake that.

I really lke the vibe of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], what about [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]?

Sorry for the long list, but I really like your style and I enjoy doing these combos.

I loved another poster’s mention of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], and I thought I’d build on [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] by making it [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. I know you said no more one syllable names, but I feel like that really completes the whole name.

Thank you for that long list, I don’t mind at all, I welcome it!

I do like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but I’m not sure about the flow, I seem to prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (and one syllable names in general, with four-syllable middle names).

From your list I really like:
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] - though somehow I can’t really get behind [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] as a middle name
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] - I had thought about this before but it seemed a bit heavy?
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] - as the [name_f]Edith[/name_f] combo, I figured it might be a tad too clunky?
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Phyllis[/name_f] - not so keen on the names themselves but I love the flow!

Many of the others are also beautiful, they’re just not really “me” (if you know what I mean)

The problem I have with another one syllable name is that I find it sounding choppy most of the time.
[name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a sweet name but not something I would consider.

Yes, I completely understand. Sometimes you like the names, but they don’t feel right.

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] also sounds nice, if you don’t want to put [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] in the middle. But I feel [name_f]Jane[/name_f] flows better with your other (beutiful) first names. Anyway, it would be sweet to meet a little Ceci [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

I don’t find [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] “heavy”. To me, both [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] are “soft” names. [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] gives the combo a strong but not rough feel.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], I have to reckon I’m not a fan of [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] so I see your point. Have you thought about [name_f]Wilma[/name_f]? [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] doesn’t sound bad either. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Wilma[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f].

PS: I saw [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] on your signature, it feels really 1900’s, and that’s something that I love.

Your suggestions of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] had me thinking about why I never considered [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] in this combo before.
I think it’s very sweet and summery, warm but light, which fit with my floral imagery.
And while I like [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f], I haven’t been completely sold on it and I do love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f].
So thank you for that.

Also, I don’t view [name_f]Edith[/name_f] as heavy on it’s own, I love it, but with [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] it does feel very antique to me.

Have you considered [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] or [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] for one of the middle names? I think [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is a very strong name, has a very rich, very old history.

I do like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], however, it’s not a name I see myself using, it’s quite cold and distant vibe-wise to me.
[name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is lovely but with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I find the double J sound to be a bit much, it drags the name down, especially as [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] isn’t a light name on it’s own, either.
Thank you, still; [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] wasn’t far off, it’s definitely my style just not for me personally.

Thank you!
I quite liked a few of them (the ones I left), I’ll think about them some more!
I did consider [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] before but I’m not sure if the combo isn’t too T heavy?

I am a fan of [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] lately, rather than [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], and I adore [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] in [name_m]German[/name_m], but as the English [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] sounds very close to it, at least while thinking internationally, I’d go with that one.

Unless of course you mean the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation?

My combo is [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f]. [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] is the swedish version of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], maybe it will tickle your fancy?

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margareta[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]

What do you think of [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] - an all time favourite of mine?

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] [name_f]Posy[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] [name_f]Maudie[/name_f]
