I have a list of characters that need middle names:
Petrov Azarov- from [name_f]Russia[/name_f], so he needs a Russian middle name that (preferably) starts with a K
[name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Byrnes[/name_m]- his father was very traditional, so the middle should be a classic that starts with A
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Andy[/name_u]’ Dabovich- no requirements
[name_m]Aaron[/name_m] [name_m]Dawson[/name_m]- needs a more adventurous middle
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Luka[/name_m]’ [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m]- from Australia, needs a middle that starts with B
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Hammond[/name_m]- no requirements, just need a middle
[name_m]Colum[/name_m] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]- no requirements, just need a middle
[name_f]Kristina[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]- no requirements, just need a middle
I’m just going to focus on Petrov Azanov, because first of all, Petrov is a surname and Russians don’t do surnames as first names. I would suggest changing it to [name_m]Pyotr[/name_m], the Russian form of [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. As for the middle name, they don’t work the same way in Russian as they do in English. The middle name is called a patronymic and is based on the father’s first name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know this character’s father’s name? If not, and since you’re wanting a name that starts with a K, then I recommend Konstantinovich. That would mean his father’s first name is [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u] ([name_u]Constantine[/name_u]).
