We have decided on the name [name_m]Fedor[/name_m](pron. FAY-DOOR) if our baby will be a boy. But we have yet to find a suitable middlename. All the men have a middlename beginning with A. in my OH’s family so we want to continue this tradition. But it is also important that the name works in both English as [name_m]German[/name_m].
We don’t like / does not work:
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Aaron[/name_m]
[name_m]Alistair[/name_m]
[name_m]Abel[/name_m]
[name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_m]Augustus[/name_m]
[name_m]Axel[/name_m]
Arthur
Arnold
Angus
Andreas
Some of the names were too English oriented for us such as [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u], [name_u]Abbot[/name_u], [name_u]Austen[/name_u] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m].
And out of the others the only name we both like is [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], but we’re not sure if it goes well with [name_m]Fedor[/name_m].
[name_m]Arno[/name_m] - OH likes it but I am not a fan. It did however made him think of [name_m]Arne[/name_m] which I like a lot.
[name_m]Aeneas[/name_m] - we both like this one, great meaning & story
[name_u]Alden[/name_u] - I like that it means old, wise friend and that it is unusual. OH is on the fence.
[name_m]Aragon[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u]! OH thinks it is too much like Aragorn
Thank you all for your input! I feel we finally have some options to consider.
