I am reconsidering [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f] for my list. What middles would you personally pair it with? Two middle names would be great if you guys can come up with any!
Style guide - I like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but of course [name_f]Violet[/name_f] goes with such a lot of names! I like quirky, uncommon, magical, romantic, perhaps with a traditional ‘feel’, but am not opposed to more classic names if they work really well. Think [name_f]Venetia[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], [name_u]Simone[/name_u], [name_f]Araceli[/name_f], [name_f]Maud[/name_f] . . .
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] was the first combo that popped into my head when I saw this thread. I know that [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] has been a top first name for the last decade in the U.S., but it seems more unexpected as a middle.
Thank you for the replies! I like a number of suggestions, though I’m not sure whether some of them are quite my style. We’ll see what ends up sticking - there were lots more good suggestions that went with [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] very well, but not many seemed to stick for me.
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is my favourite, but the following are good suggestions too.
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Verona[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Orlaith[/name_f] [I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the look of this!]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
@hermione_vader, [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] was actually my first thought as well! I agree it sounds beautiful, but unfortunately I know so many Sophies that I don’t really WANT to consider it. That could well change, but at the moment I think I want to stick to more unusual middles.
You’ve gotten many good suggestions, and I love [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to throw out that we considered [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] for our daughter, so obviously I think that combo sounds lovely together!
