I generally prefer longer, traditional names on the underused side. My girls’ middles are [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Helena[/name_f], but I’m willing to go a little more (or less) unusual than that.
I like all the middles you’ve listed in themselves, and sound and rhythm-wise they all work with [name_f]Ines[/name_f], but for the feel and style of the name I like [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] best.
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], as gorgeous as it sounds, is making a very Spanish statement, so unless you’re looking for that I would cross it off. Much as I adore [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] I feel there is something quite conscious about putting them with [name_f]Ines[/name_f] - hard to explain - but they don’t quite gel for me. [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] all work well but I just prefer [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - my favoured ones have less soft and flowy sounds, maybe a bit sassier, which works well after [name_f]Ines[/name_f].
@araminty You’ve said much of what I was thinking about these! I love the flow of [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Albertine[/name_f] is absolutely stunning, thank you
@greyblue [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] are both fab, thanks!
I really like [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]. I also like the suggestion of [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f]. Maybe I’m just digging the -ine ending on for the middle name?

Oh, [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] (!) and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalen[/name_f] are just lovely!
I also really love the sound of [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Rosario[/name_u], but I feel they’d be just a bit too Spanish for a totally un-Spanish baby. Then again, since this baby is also totally imaginary I guess why not!
