Middles for Louise!

Help me out, throw in your comments/critiques/suggestions/better alternatives. Here are my current contenders:

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Viveca[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Kalani[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Imara[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Camden[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Talia[/name_f]

I’m looking for a MN that balances out the soft, floral “grandma-ness” of [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and gives it more edgy, interesting feel. At the same time, old-timey names have a certain charm that I prefer over super modern names like [name_f]Kaycee[/name_f] or [name_f]Azalea[/name_f].

I do want to avoid names starting with A so it won’t blend with [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and turn it into [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (for example [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] when said out loud could seem like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Manda[/name_f]).

So picky, yet so indecisive. All thoughts and other MN suggestions appreciated!

Best on your list is [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] since I’m from [name_f]Louisiana[/name_f] xD

I found a list of some quirky names and picked some that I thought sounded nice with [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_m]How[/name_m] about
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_u]Blair[/name_u]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Whisper[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] Hallow

My favorite from your list is [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Kalani[/name_u]. I think that one gives off the feel you are going for most and I like the sound and flow of it best. My least favorite from your list is [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] as that still sounds very grandma-ish to me.

Some other suggestions:
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Chiara[/name_f]

What, you had to make sure that my suggestion got trashed? [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] is weird to be honest.

@mommy2016 My comment had absolutely nothing to do with you or your comment. I was simply giving my honest opinion on the choices she listed. I formed my opinions of her options before I even saw your comment. The point of this thread is to get peoples opinions on the names. She said she was worried about the “grandma-ness” of [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and when I read [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] it sounded like an old lady name to me so I thought I would let her know since that was one of her concerns. That is just my opinion. Obviously we have different opinions on the names, and that’s okay! You are entitled to yours just like I am entitled to mine. I was not “trashing” your suggestion, I was commenting on her options.

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] Mikenna
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]

Off of your list I like Kalani best, because it flows well. Not sure what your last name is so it’s hard to know if any of the others flow better

The only names I would consider using are Louise Clementine and Louise Ramona. With all the other names the style juxtaposition is just too much for my taste.

Names similar to Louise Clementine:
Louise Violet
Louise Delilah
Louise Iris
Louise Ivy
Louise Juniper

Names similar to Louise Ramona, these can come off a bit clunky but in a cool way not grandma way
Louise Beatrix
Louise Daphne
Louise Harriet
Louise Matilda

I think what you need is something with high energy not modernness to balance out the softness of Louise.

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Natalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favorite from your list!

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Kalena[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Simone[/name_u]

From your list I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] are best.

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] gets my vote.

[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Marjolaine[/name_f]

Another vote for [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]. However, I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] adds to the classic [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. For me, it does not edge it out or make it especially “interesting”. I guess I am not sure what you mean by interesting, it is such a subjective word.

When I hear interesting, I think of more along the lines of:
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Ember[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]

That being said, [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] is lovely. I guess if you can elaborate on what edgy or interesting means to you, I can try some more.
