I’d love to hear your thoughts on these
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] - pronounced Ts
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f]
Not in the running anymore (feels a little too clunky for me after all):
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
Also like from the suggestions:
Mabel Clementine (love the quirkyness but I think I’d like something a little less fun/quirky)
Mabel Josephine (love the vibe but can’t use Josephine)
And please add any suggestions that you may have, I’m not looking for long lists, but rather combos that stand out to you.
I’d like to keep them on the timeless side and prefer 3+ syllable names.
I have a bit of a soft spot for [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], so [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] appeals to me, but I prefer the sound of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f].
Thank you for the suggestions, I really like the quirky [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and the style of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but not so much with [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]’s too youthful and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] to mature for me here).
With the [name_u]August[/name_u] names I really only like [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] for girls though [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] does flow nicely as well.
From your first list [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] is my favourite, but I like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] best of the suggestions.
I’m glad you like it, I think Augusta or Henrietta are the ones I like best of my own ideas.
I do love [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] but maybe it’s a bit old when paired with [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], even for me?!
Thank you for the input I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], it’s very clunky to me, however, I do like the -a ending with [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] which is something to think about.
I appreciate the input, I love [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], too, she’s delightful but I also think there are better combos for her out there (I actually have a few on my list in which I think I prefer [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]).
We used a family surname as her middle, [name_u]Parker[/name_u]. I kind of liked the spunky gender neutral surname vibe next to the old classic, [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. I wouldn’t have used it if it didn’t have family history though.
My other favorite name and one I used on my next daughter: [name_f]Violet[/name_f]!
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] sounds so lovely to me.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is my favorite [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] combo though I don’t know that it fits your style?
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f]
