We’re expecting a sibling for [name]Henry[/name] [name]Isaac[/name] - we’ll know the gender in three weeks, but we’re having fun planning names already! If baby is a boy, we really like [name]Edward[/name], to be called [name]Teddy[/name] - having trouble thinking of a middle name that really flows well, though. We have a five-syllable, hyphenated last name that starts with S - the first last name ends with “man” and the second ends with “er.” We liked [name]Edward[/name] [name]James[/name] for a while, but now I’m not so sure - I don’t like the S in [name]James[/name] running up against the S in our last name. I want to find something that flows really well - bonus if it sounds good with [name]Teddy[/name], too
[name]Henry[/name] and [name]Edward[/name] are great sibling names! They match perfectly in style, so I was just curious if you were thinking you’d like to use another biblical middle name to match up with [name]Issac[/name]? There are plenty of great ones so I’ll suggest a few that I just think sound good with [name]Edward[/name].
[name]Edward[/name] [name]Adam[/name], [name]Edward[/name] [name]Amos[/name], [name]Edward[/name] [name]Levi[/name], [name]Edward[/name] [name]Noah[/name] (I like the idea of 4-letter middles so each son would have a total of 10 letters in his name)
[name]Teddy[/name] [name]Abraham[/name], [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Daniel[/name], [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Joshua[/name], [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] (3 syllable mn’s sound really nice with [name]Teddy[/name]; But are they too long for [name]Edward[/name]?)
My favorite suggestion: [name]Edward[/name] [name]Bernard[/name] (Not a biblical name, but I just can’t help but love the “[name]Teddy[/name] [name]Bear[/name]” nn you could get from it!) Good luck to you! =]

[name]Edward[/name] [name]Geoff[/name]! That’s the first name that came to mind. I do love [name]Edward[/name] [name]James[/name] but I agree the -s ending wouldn’t sound well with a surname beginning with S. Best of luck to you
Thanks for the suggestions! What do you think of [name]Edward[/name] [name]Asher[/name]? Also - love [name]Teddy[/name] so much for a little boy, but not sure how I feel about [name]Ted[/name] as he gets older - handsome or nerdy? Thoughts? I really dislike [name]Ed[/name]/[name]Eddie[/name] and I’m not in love with [name]Ned[/name], so [name]Ted[/name] is the only route we’d go if we use this name.
