I don’t think anyone is going to think of melena when you say [name]Milana[/name]! I like both, actually. [name]Milana[/name] sounds richer and more elegant, while [name]Mila[/name] is more cutesy and is a nice “[name]Mia[/name]” alternative. You can also call her [name]Millie[/name] as a nn if you name her [name]Mila[/name], which is very cute.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Milena[/name] instead?
Overall, though, I think I would go with [name]Milana[/name] because you should stick to your first idea. Motherly intuition is always nearly 99.9% accurate!
I prefer [name]Mila[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name].
[name]Milena[/name] is better spelled like this… [name]MILA[/name] for a nickname… Mi-lay-na is better than [name]Mil[/name]-lana… I don’t like the middle name…
What about [name]Milani[/name] ?
If you don’t love [name]Milana[/name] I would suggest just using [name]Mila[/name]. They’re both beautiful names. [name]Mila[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] sounds beautiful.
I prefer [name]Mila[/name]
I prefer [name]Milena[/name] over [name]Milana[/name]. I say [name]Milena[/name] and melena very differently so I guess I don’t hear the similarities. Besides, in Dominican Spanish, a melena is a beautiful head of hair!
If you can’t disassociate [name]Milena[/name] and melena, I would use just [name]Mila[/name].
[name]Mila[/name], except the other choice is [name]Milena[/name] instead of [name]Milana[/name]. [name]Milana[/name] is elegant, but for me it’s weird to see -lana and not -lena there. But maybe it’s just me.
[name]Mila[/name]!! That’s my gorgeous little girls name
I really like the name [name]Mila[/name]! I would go with it
[name]Mila[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] is beautiful. I would go with that.
I think [name]Milena[/name] is gorgeous, but if you can’t disassociate it from melena (which is a connection very few people will be able to make, and not her peers until the child is in university at least!) I also appreciate using a longer name, since it gives many nickname options to the child. I would go with [name]Milana[/name] over [name]Mila[/name], since I believe [name]Milana[/name] is also a beautiful name!
I really like [name]Milena[/name]. I wouldn’t worry about the medical thing, if you never mention it, your kid will probably never encounter it, it’s not a thing. I also really love [name]Mila[/name]. [name]Milena[/name] nn [name]Mila[/name], or going with simply [name]Mila[/name], both are great choices I think.
If your child aspires to be in the medical field, they will come across it. I prefer [name]Mila[/name] anyway because it is cute and less over-the-top.
