Miles, Clayton or Bennett?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!
We’re due with our third baby in [name_u]August[/name_u]. We currently have 1 yo twin boys named [name_m]Wes[/name_m] ([name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is his full name) and [name_m]Foster[/name_m]. We don’t know if it will be a boy or girl, but we’ve narrowed the list down to these three boy names. We love [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] but don’t like [name_m]Ben[/name_m] as a nickname - not sure if that’s inevitable or not with that name. Which do you like best for our family?

I like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] best, and I agree–don’t use the nickname!

I like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] the most but I do think that the nickname [name_m]Ben[/name_m] will become inevitable. So my second choice is [name_u]Miles[/name_u], since [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] could also be shortened to [name_m]Clay[/name_m] by some and not sure if that would be an issue too

I like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u]! He might get the nn [name_m]Ben[/name_m] down the road…

What about:
[name_m]Bartlett[/name_m]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m]
[name_u]Beckett[/name_u]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_m]Barnett[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Truett[/name_m]

Wesley, [name_m]Foster[/name_m] and [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] would be pure perfection. I think [name_m]Ben[/name_m] would be mostly avoidable; I know a [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] who’s just [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], and it works well for him! [name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite from your list is [name_u]Miles[/name_u]. [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] [name_u]Miles[/name_u] would be a great combo!

The nickname [name_m]Benny[/name_m]/Bennie doesn’t seem as overdone as [name_m]Ben[/name_m].

I like [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], [name_m]Foster[/name_m] & [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] all together, but [name_u]Miles[/name_u] and [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] are nice too. I think some people will try to shorten [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] to [name_m]Ben[/name_m] but if you insist it’s [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] then it shouldn’t be a problem.

I love [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] and [name_u]Miles[/name_u] but since you want to avoid [name_m]Ben[/name_m], my vote goes to [name_u]Miles[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] and [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] best for you. I think you could mostly avoid [name_m]Ben[/name_m] if you emphasize that he is called [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] not [name_m]Ben[/name_m]. If you want other nickname options I could see [name_m]Ned[/name_m] or [name_m]Benny[/name_m] working.

I love all three, but I think [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] is the best fit with your other children’s names. Personally, I wouldn’t think to shorten [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] to [name_m]Ben[/name_m] because it is so associated with [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u].

Wesley is my absolute favorite boy name!! I love it so so so much. And [name_m]Foster[/name_m] is so handsome. I like [name_m]Wes[/name_m], [name_m]Foster[/name_m], and [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] the most. [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] is a little too studious and [name_u]Miles[/name_u] is too popular.

[name_u]Bennett[/name_u]! I prefer it to the other two both in general and with your sibset!

I think [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] works best but [name_m]Benny[/name_m] is what came to mind as a default NN. Not sure if that’s a deal breaker. I liked the suggestion of [name_u]Emmet[/name_u] if it is although [name_u]Miles[/name_u] is my second vote and I doubt there’s any NNs that get defaulted with that one.

I have a [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] who is three years old and no one calls himself [name_m]Ben[/name_m], so far. We do call him [name_m]Benny[/name_m] (which I like) as an endearment name. But other adults we know and teachers etc even family members don’t call him [name_m]Ben[/name_m] or [name_m]Benny[/name_m]. So I think your [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] could just be [name_u]Bennett[/name_u]!
Ps- [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is on my future list  love your taste.

Congratulations on narrowing down a final three. They are great names.
I love [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] !!! I think it stands out , is recognizable and extremely underused. I have a coworker with this name and he wears it well, and is probably the smartest person I have ever met. I think [name_m]Wes[/name_m](ley), [name_m]Foster[/name_m] and [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] make a great set for brothers. Each name is distinctive and so strong

I like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] and it’s on my list. I worry that it will be shortened to [name_m]Ben[/name_m] (which I like) but you don’t. I also love that surnamey feel

Miles. I like this name but I don’t love it with your boys for some reason. [name_f]My[/name_f] first care I named [name_u]Miles[/name_u] for all the miles you would go together so I think my brain is clouded by the association to my first car.

I agree - if you love it use [name_m]Bennet[/name_m], not [name_m]Ben[/name_m]. If that’s what u call him, that’s what others will call him too.

I really like [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], [name_m]Foster[/name_m] & [name_u]Bennett[/name_u]

Thank you so much for your feedback, everyone! After hearing that so many people like [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] and feel like if we just call him [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] we won’t necessarily get pigeonholed into [name_m]Ben[/name_m] as a nn, we’re thinking [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] [name_u]Miles[/name_u] as a first choice. [name_u]Miles[/name_u] is a family name so it would be nice to use, but I do agree that it seems to be getting more popular. I think our backup would be [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_m]Clayton[/name_m]. Really appreciate your help!!
