Wife and I are expecting our first child in [name_f]May[/name_f], a baby boy!
We’re pretty torn between [name_u]Miles[/name_u] and [name_u]Adrian[/name_u]. Both have a similar old school cool feel(to us at least).
Some other honorable mentions that are on our list but not as high up as these two are [name_u]Leland[/name_u], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] & [name_u]Parker[/name_u].
Middle name will most likely be a family name from wife’s side of the family, the list of middle names are [name_u]Daniel[/name_u], [name_u]William[/name_u], [name_u]Howard[/name_u] & [name_u]Scott[/name_u]. Names from my side thay are also under consideration for middle name use are [name_u]David[/name_u] & [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m].
Looking for some outside opinions! Which of these do you like best, if any? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_u]Miles[/name_u] or [name_u]Adrian[/name_u]? Anything that we may want to consider when using one of these two names? Any other names we may be missing out on that fit with our style? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer any of our other names listed? Thanks in advance!
I love [name_u]Miles[/name_u]! [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]William[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] or [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] get my vote.
Honestly [name_u]Miles[/name_u] is such a gorgeous name really sweet, distinguished and handsome. [name_u]Miles[/name_u] feels so soft and I love how he sounds with [name_m]Roman[/name_m].
From your list I really like [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]William[/name_u], [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] + [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] they all sound gorgeous. I think my favourite is [name_u]William[/name_u] as I just love this name.
Love:Miles Daniel Roman , love the meaning of Aiden (little fire) and Adrian is similar , but I don’t love the Adrian completed name options anywhere near as much as MDR which is stunning. Of the Adrian options I like Adrian Daniel the most. I like the name howard and want to like Adrian Howard, but feel like Adrian Hollis , or Adrian Hawthorne, or Adrian Howell might flow better just because all of the Adrian options are very strong punchy names with a punchy first and punchy last name.
I think [name_u]Miles[/name_u] goes best with the last name sound-wise but that may just be because I don’t like the repetitive -n sound.
With [name_u]Miles[/name_u] I’d go with [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] first or [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]William[/name_u] second.
If you do go with [name_u]Adrian[/name_u], I’d go with [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] [name_u]Scott[/name_u] or [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u].
I prefer [name_u]Miles[/name_u] over [name_u]Adrian[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite combo is [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m].
[name_u]Miles[/name_u] was ranked number 55 and [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] was ranked number 63 in 2023. So they’re both pretty similar popularity wise. Not sure if popularity matters to you guys.
For [name_u]Miles[/name_u] I’m really liking [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Howard[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. For [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] I’m liking [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] [name_u]Scott[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m].
I think I prefer [name_u]Miles[/name_u] more than [name_u]Adrian[/name_u]. [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Howard[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] gets my top vote!
Both names are good but [name_u]Miles[/name_u] sounds better with your last name. I like [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] the best, followed by [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Howard[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m].
I really like [name_u]Adrian[/name_u], but I think [name_u]Miles[/name_u] is better with your last name. The repeating -an endings isn’t a massive issue, so if you love the name, go for it. But if you need a reason to knock [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] out, that could be it.
I like [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] slightly better by itself but I think [name_u]Miles[/name_u] sounds better with your last name.
[name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] sounds too much like [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Davis[/name_u] to me though, that’s a great namesake but still something to consider.
[name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] is my favourite of your listed options. [name_u]Miles[/name_u] [name_u]William[/name_u] second.
You could also consider using [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] or [name_u]David[/name_u] as the first name as they’re much less less popular than they used to be and great solid names. [name_u]Or[/name_u] you might like [name_m]Damian[/name_m]?
