Still can’t decide on a first name. Thoughts on these two? Worried [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is too popular, and [name_m]Walden[/name_m] may be too out there. [name_m]Both[/name_m] go well with our last name, and I also like how they sound with our daughter’s name, [name_f]Fern[/name_f].

[name_m]Milo[/name_m] used a lot and while it is sweet, it seems too sweet and childlike for a 60 year old man which he will someday be.
I like both names a lot! [name_m]Just[/name_m] by first impressions, I am not a huge fan of [name_u]Wally[/name_u], but I am sure it would grow on me quickly once I saw a face to the name.
That said, I adore [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_m]Walden[/name_m] together…love love love! And while walden is uncommon, I don’t think it is “out there”, I would love to meet a boy named [name_m]Walden[/name_m]/[name_u]Wally[/name_u]!
[name_m]Walden[/name_m] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] are great together. I think [name_m]Walden[/name_m] ages well. Nice, handsome name.
I love [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. It’s not popular at all where I live! It’s an amazing name!
I like both names, but [name_m]Walden[/name_m] is definitely more unique and not out there at all. It goes great with big sis [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. [name_u]Wally[/name_u] is an adorable nickname. He could also go by [name_u]Wade[/name_u] too.
While I like [name_m]Milo[/name_m] more I agree with you that it’s really popular at the moment. [name_m]Walden[/name_m] is definitely not too out there, especially since [name_m]Walden[/name_m] Schmidt from Two and a half Men.
For me [name_m]Walden[/name_m] goes better with [name_f]Fern[/name_f] than [name_m]Milo[/name_m].
I personally wouldn’t use [name_u]Wally[/name_u] as a nn because it reminds me too much of the Pixar movie

I like [name_m]Walden[/name_m]. It reminds me of H. D. [name_m]Thoreau[/name_m]. Your daughter’s name reminds me of literature, too ([name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]'s [name_m]Web[/name_m]), so for consistency’s sake it works very well.
