Thoughts on [name_u]Milo[/name_u] with older sister [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]? I’ve always loved this name and would use it in a heartbeat if my partner was open to it. Before anyone suggests [name_u]Miles[/name_u]: I do really like [name_u]Miles[/name_u] but I don’t love it the way I do [name_u]Milo[/name_u].
Also, does anyone else think of the drink when they hear the name [name_u]Milo[/name_u]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] is [name_u]Milo[/name_u] only an Australian product?
I know an [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], and her sisters/friends sometimes call her [name_u]Mel[/name_u] as a nickname, which I think might be too close to [name_u]Milo[/name_u]. Never heard of the drink, I’m from Europe! [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite combo is [name_u]Milo[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u].
Oh interesting. [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] only ever gets [name_u]Ami[/name_u] for short so I’m not too worried about that. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to know there’s no [name_u]Milo[/name_u] in Europe (the drink)!
I love [name_u]Milo[/name_u]! It’s bright, energetic, and full of personality. It does seem to overlap a fair amount sound-wise with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], but I can see that being either a pro or a con depending on your preferences; I definitely don’t think they’re too match-y. I’ve heard of the drink but I don’t think we actually have it here (U.S.) and I definitely wouldn’t have thought of it spontaneously if you hadn’t mentioned it! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite of your combos is [name_u]Milo[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]–I really like the balance between the more gentle [name_u]Milo[/name_u] and bolder [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. They’re all nice though!
We have [name_u]Milo[/name_u] here in the US, usually found in our imported goods sections. It isn’t commonly known, but I’d heard of it through some Australian YouTubers.
I think [name_u]Milo[/name_u] is a great name. I think [name_u]Milo[/name_u] gives a bit of distinction from [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] while [name_u]Miles[/name_u] would be too close. If you love it, use it.
If you’re worried about similarities between the names, I wouldn’t. I’ve seen siblings named Ëmïlïö & Ëmïlÿ, Jädë & Jäÿdën and Lücä & Lücïänä nn Lücÿ. In my family, we have siblings Böb & Bärb, though both nicknames for Röbërt & Bärbärä which share most of their nicknames anyway.
I love [name_u]Milo[/name_u].

I love [name_u]Milo[/name_u]! [name_f]My[/name_f] top boy name right now. [name_u]Milo[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] has a wonderful flow! I like your other combos too!
I love [name_u]Milo[/name_u]! He’s not my favourite with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], but I guess they’re fine together. Never heard of the drink (I’m in the US). [name_u]Milo[/name_u] [name_u]Remy[/name_u] is
I think of eastern europe, actually. [name_u]Milo[/name_u], [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], [name_u]Mischa[/name_u], [name_f]Petra[/name_f], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], etc.
Milo and [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] are great! I think the drink is an Australian thing. I really like [name_u]Milo[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] and [name_u]Milo[/name_u] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m]!
