So hubby and I were walking around an old cemetery about 12 years ago that we used to live near. We only had one child back then, a boy. We spotted an old headstone of a one year old girl from the 1800s. The name always stuck with us and we haven’t been able to locate the headstone since. The name on the headstone was Mily [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I’m not sure if it’s just a misspelling of [name_f]Millie[/name_f] or My-lee?
My question is: has anyone ever known someone with the spelling of that name and if so, how do/did they pronounce it? Thank you!
