My immediate thought is from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]: [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] Mcgonagall.
That being said, the name has grown on me and I could see it being used and having the nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]

I like it and I do think it’s wearable. [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is very cute!
The only association I have (other than the mythological [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]) is McGonagall from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], but I think that’s a great association to have.

I don’t see why not! I went to school with a girl called [name_f]Athena[/name_f] and nobody found that strange. Plus it has cute nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] that fits right in with all the little [name_f]Edie[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]'s etc…

I love [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], and my main association is (same as everyone) from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m].

I think since [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] may be most people’s association with [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], it might not seem very versatile, but that can change with any other association with the name.

I don’t think it’s an incredibly versatile name, but I do think it’s usable, very wearable. [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is an easy nickname.

I have always loved [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]! Unfortunately it is awkward with my surname or else it would be top pick. [name_m]Even[/name_m] so, I am considering it. I think of strength when I think of [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]. [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] doesn’t come to mind immediately but that may be because I am blinded by love for the name. Another nn is [name_f]Mina[/name_f].

Thanks, everyone! I am a fan of Professor McGonagall, so she’s not an issue at all.
