Minivere as a name

I have possibly made up a name but wondered if it sounds “real” enough to use?!
Minivere (mini-veer) rather than Min-er-va which I also liked but didn’t want an “a” sounding end of the name.
Any thoughts? (nn Mini/Minnie obs!)

It kinda sounds like [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] smooshed together.

It’s not my taste, personally.

I love the ‘vere’ ending, and the ‘min’ beginning…however it sounds to me like mini-beer when I say it out loud…however I like the concept but maybe switch out some vowels…like Monavere?

I love a good smoosh name, but this isn’t my favorite, unfortunately. I don’t love the sound. Something like Merivere could be sweet, though. I have Lilivere and Lillivie on my list, which are in a similar vein!

Seconding the lovely Lilivere. I first saw Miniverse when I saw the post. I don’t think it’s bad at all but I’d think it’s an alternative spelling and pronounce it with a a sound at the end. Have you considered [name_f]Minette[/name_f] / [name_f]Minuet[/name_f] for [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] without an a ending?

Feels very Scandi or Nordic for me like Lillivere. Great name! I would also spell it as Minnivere

I don’t mind it, I love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] so the ending I love I too would second the spelling of Minnivere, it looks more complete to me.

It’s clever, and I like [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] as a name, and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] as a name, but for whatever reason the two don’t smoosh well for me. I also think it would generate a lot of questions, and without being able to say something like “it’s after my great grandmother” or something, it might get a little more awkward for someone. Lastly, I also have to admit that when I first read it I thought it said “Miniverse.”

I don’t like the obvious “mini” in the name. it feels more like a word for a mini vere (whatever a vere would be) than a name. seconding the Minnivere spelling, which I actually quite like! however, I would pronounce it to rhyme with [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] that way, not mini-vere.

Yes, I want it pronounced like [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], but with Minn instead of [name_u]Guin[/name_u]!
