What do you think of [name_f]Minta[/name_f] as a stand alone name? It has definitely been one of my guilty pleasures recently! And what middles would suit [name_f]Minta[/name_f]? Or sibling names? Thanks!!!
I’ve been really loving [name_f]Minta[/name_f] lately. I think it’s fabulous.

I like it as a nn for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] but not as a name on its own.
I agree, although I still like it as a stand-alone. I just prefer is as a nn for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f].
I’ve never encountered this name before, though seem to have recalled and [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] somewhere. I had to make myself pause and think about it …and you know, I think it works quite well! There is something sweet and a quirky about it. I think it would work quite well with a number of the vintage names that are returning to the scene now or if you’re interested in something a little more out there would also match well. The only clash I see is if you went for something very traditional and/or biblical like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] or the ever-populars [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_m]Kevin[/name_m], [name_m]Brian[/name_m], etc.
For a middle name I’d be tempted to go with some simple, pretty and well-established such as [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], etc… as the fn is quite unique. This will keep it grounded.
Ditto this.
I actually prefer it as a stand-alone. There’s something slightly off to me about [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], although I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is. I do love just [name_f]Minta[/name_f], though; I remember reading it on [name_f]Minta[/name_f] [name_m]Doyle[/name_m] in To The Lighthouse and thinking it was so enchanting!
I agree with above posters I would use it as a nn for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f].
I know an [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] known as [name_f]Minta[/name_f]. [name_f]Love[/name_f] it. [name_f]Minta[/name_f] alone is gorgeous too and sounds like a great name for a child and a grown up.

[name_f]Araminta[/name_f], [name_f]Aminta[/name_f], [name_f]Minta[/name_f], [name_f]Minty[/name_f], Mint!
Someone suggestion [name_f]Minta[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] on my post, which I thought quite snazzy considering I adore the name [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (though many can’t take it seriously). Thought I’d pass that along. Anyway, still finding I love [name_f]Minta[/name_f] as a standalone.
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see so much positive reception for sweet little [name_f]Minta[/name_f]! The only trouble I have with [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is that it lookd great written out but when I say it aloud it seems odd to me!! [name_f]Love[/name_f] the suggestion of [name_f]Minta[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]!! Too die for !!
I would probably go with [name_f]Aminta[/name_f], it just seems slightly more finished.
I like [name_f]Minta[/name_f] on its own. I think something like [name_f]Minta[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] or [name_f]Minta[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would work very well. Something about [name_f]Aminta[/name_f] bugs me.
