Loving [name]Mira[/name] more and more each day! [name]Mira[/name] has always been a name I’ve liked, had on the middle name list, put into combos for fun, etc. Now I’m really starting to like [name]Mira[/name] as a possible first name. Not to mention, I’m absolutely in love with all of her origins/meanings.
My current favorite for a girl is [name]Violet[/name], favorite combo is [name]Violet[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] [name]June[/name]. I’m working on [name]Mira[/name] combos and I can’t get over the nn MJ, I’m obsessed. I like [name]Mira[/name] [name]Juniper[/name], but it doesn’t give me that “OMG I love it!” feeling. I actually quite like [name]Mira[/name] [name]January[/name], but I’m not sure how others feel. [name]January[/name] is my dad’s birth month and I’ve always wondered how to honor him when naming a girl. (His name is [name]Gregory[/name] and if I have a boy, one of his middles will be [name]Gregory[/name].)
What are your thoughts? Any suggestions?
Other combos I like but don’t love are… [name]Mira[/name] [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Mira[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Mira[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] (too much?), [name]Mira[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] (but with sissy [name]Violet[/name]?), and [name]Mira[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (too similar to [name]Mary[/name] [name]Jane[/name]?).
A family name will be given as a second middle once I’ve got this figured out.
PS - I’m not pregnant, I’m always working on my lists to come up with the perfect set.
You could look at using a longer name-- [name]Mirabelle[/name] or [name]Mirabella[/name] and then use [name]Mira[/name] as a nn. This might help with better mn options.
I have a [name]Mira[/name] who is just over a year old, and I absolutely (obviously) love the name. We use family names for middles, so [name]Mira[/name] is [name]Mira[/name] [name]Susan[/name] after my mom. [name]Mira[/name] [name]Sue[/name] is a sweet nickname, but she largely just goes by [name]Mira[/name]. If you like MJ, I like [name]Mira[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. I love [name]Josephine[/name] as well. [name]January[/name] totally works as well, since it will be in the middle name spot.

For your boy’s name, I love [name]Gregor[/name]. I would use it as a first name to honour your father!
[name]Greer[/name] is a name that derives from [name]Gregor[/name] and could be used on a girl. I’m not sure that it works that well with a first name of [name]Mira[/name], though.

I think [name]Mira[/name] [name]January[/name] is perfectly fine! It’s in the middle spot which I think most people prefer for names considered “more out there” than others! It sounds nice. I like the flow. And if you like it, then that’s all that matters!
I do not think [name]Mira[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is out for a sister named [name]Violet[/name]. As long as the name you will call them everyday doesn’t rhyme, I think you’re okay!
[name]Mira[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] is adorable! I could see it on a girl of all ages! You’re doing great with your combinations! Keep it up and you shouldn’t have a problem!
