Mira? Cadence? ugh, and so it goes on!

I love [name]Mira[/name]… Dh loves [name]Cadence[/name], but wants to spell it Kaidance or Kadance (has a problem with the ‘dence’ part)
So, let’s just say I throw the names away, wdyt is a good sibset with her big brother [name]Rhys[/name]?

**after reading the last two replies, I should have mentioned that dh isn’t really into Welsh/Irish/Celtic names. I too love [name]Bronwyn[/name] and [name]Anwen[/name]. But, it’s a no go with him. He likes [name]Rhys[/name] strickly for how it sounds and not so much where it comes from. Our dd’s name is [name]Jocelyn[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]… I should have mentioned that also.

We really like names from most naming styles. It really just has to be cute on a baby, cool on a young lady and sophisticated on a woman. MNs we’re considering are [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Blair[/name], [name]Willow[/name] or [name]Viola[/name]. Other names we’ve considered are [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Arianna[/name], [name]Leila[/name], [name]Hayden[/name], [name]Harlow[/name] (until it became celeb), [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Eden[/name], Eversen, [name]Gemma[/name]…etc. (uh huh, aaaall over the board)

[name]Rhys[/name] is a Welsh name. My favorite Welsh names for girls are [name]Anwen[/name], [name]Ailsa[/name], [name]Arwen[/name], [name]Gwynneth[/name], and [name]Cordelia[/name]. Irish girls’ names would be pretty with [name]Rhys[/name], too: [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Bryony[/name], and you can find more on the Irish hot list under “hot lists”. I also like [name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] nn [name]Nell[/name], [name]Jessamine[/name], [name]Annika[/name], [name]Catriona[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], and [name]Flora[/name] with [name]Rhys[/name].

I’m not a big fan of respeelings either. Smart move to toss both out and start fresh!
With [name]Rhys[/name], off the top of my head:

[name]Roisin[/name] (ro-sheen)

Completely random, I know but I hope it helps!

[name]Both[/name] you girls are on the right track as far as I’m concerned… [name]Isla[/name], [name]Anwen[/name], [name]Bronwyn[/name], [name]Cecilia[/name], [name]Carys[/name] (already being used in the family), [name]Neve[/name], [name]Siobhan[/name]… I’ve swung them all by the dh and he turns his nose up. I revamped my opening post to clarify a bit more.

Alright, let me try again, because I’m still “Toss both [name]Mira[/name] & [name]Cadence[/name] out of you can’t agree on one and start fresh” thinking!

[name]Mina[/name]/[name]Wilhelmina[/name] (hey, why not?!)
[name]Lydia[/name] ([name]Love[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]!)
[name]Oona[/name] (I wish my other half would let me use [name]Oona[/name]!)

I hope that helps a bit better than before! [name]Happy[/name] New Year!

[name]Jocelyn[/name] is such a classic, elegant name; and [name]Rhys[/name] so handsome! Of the names mentioned, I think [name]Isla[/name] is my favorite. You might also consider [name]Fallon[/name], [name]Lila[/name] (nn for [name]Elizabeth[/name]?)or [name]Tamsin[/name].
