I am expecting my first child at the end of [name_u]March[/name_u]. My husband and I have been thinking about naming our girl either [name_f]Mira[/name_f] or [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. I would appreciate feedback about those names. Also, we need a middle name for each (just for reference, the last name ends in “y”). Some of the middle names we have been considering are:
I’d love to know which middle names people think go best with [name_f]Mira[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. I am also open to other suggestions for middle names.
I personally prefer [name_f]Mira[/name_f]—it’s sweet, sleek, and pretty. Of your middles, I like [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] and [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. For [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], I like [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Parker[/name_u].
If popularity bothers you, I’d go with [name_f]Mira[/name_f]. Disney just came out with the movie Frozen who has an [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] in it and is now a Disney princess.
I like [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. Same for [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] too.
I chose [name_f]Mira[/name_f] for my baby girl but I absolutely love [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] as well and I actually think that association with the new Disney movie is very sweet because it is actually a very good one plus she can have her own song so although I love [name_f]Mira[/name_f] cause this is the name we chose for our daughter, I really like [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] too
iamamiam just posted the link to my threat
the name I came across recently when watching Dracula TV series is [name_f]Mina[/name_f], sounds really nice as well. Good luck!
I love the name [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. It is sophisticated, elegant, and unique. Also it seems like princesses name, [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. For the Middle name I like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] has a sweet ring to it. All of the names you picked are very pretty. Good luck in finding a name, based on your choices you’ll do an amazing job.
I prefer [name_f]Mira[/name_f], though [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is nice too.
For combos I really like:
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] (the one issue is that it does run together a bit if said rapidly)
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] (though it has the same issue as [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f])
[name_m]Both[/name_m] names are nice, but [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is definitely my fave. I like [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] sounds great with [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]. I don’t like [name_f]Mira[/name_f] with [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] as much because [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Cora[/name_f]- sounds repetitive to me.
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - I 2nd this
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] is my favorite. It’s more distinctive. Dr. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is an elegant professional woman in one of my favorite series.
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] is right on trend, but will stand out more (in a good way). [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] could be getting popular.
I don’t like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] with either name. Miradeline or Elsadeline because for me the sounds run together. [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Parker[/name_u], [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], or [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] would all be fine.
I also like
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f]
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
I much prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]! And the nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is so cute! [name_f]Mira[/name_f] sounds so little girlish to me, but [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] will age much, much better. I love [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]!
I think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] sounds better with your middles but [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is a more substantial, sophisticated, and distinctive name. I’d go with [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] or [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. Would you consider [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]? With [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], I like these middles,
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] was high on my list for my last baby. I know a 3 year old named [name_f]Mira[/name_f] [name_f]Bella[/name_f]. I know that it can be used together as one proper name they felt that it was enough with an Italian last name and chose to use it that way.
