What do you think about [name_f]Mira[/name_f]?

For some reason I just don’t get excited by girls names, havent found a name I love (tons for guys though) 
Not a fan of names that are too complicated or too modern (more into classics)

I like [name_f]Mira[/name_f], but it reminds me of a mispronunciation of mirror. I never thought of that until my 3yo came home from the in-laws saying it this way. I prefer [name_f]Miri[/name_f].
I really really like [name_f]Mira[/name_f]! I think it sounds both soft and sophisticated. I also love [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] is very pretty too.

I really like [name_f]Mira[/name_f]. To me it is one of those names that seems smart, simple and pretty with out being trendy. I also like [name_f]Myrna[/name_f] pronouced (Meer-na) as in [name_f]Myrna[/name_f] [name_m]Loy[/name_m]. Though I know it’s a name that doesn’t get much love on Nameberry. To me having an association with a mirror, a beautiful luxury item that is at the heart of more then one fairy tale. Or an association with the Spanish word for look is not a deal breaker. (The fact that my husband doesn’t like the name is what keeps this one off the list.)
To me [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is a the name equivalent of the little black dress. It’s just classy and timeless.

I love [name_f]Mira[/name_f], one of my favorites. The only hesitation I have on it is that it means “look” in Spanish. I like [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] too, though I would probably just use [name_f]Mira[/name_f]. Simple and sweet without being frilly.
[name_f]Mira[/name_f]. Simple but sweet, elegant but at the same time fun. Like everybody else said, [name_f]Mira[/name_f] is spanish for look, so that is a bit of a downside. Maybe [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] but nicknamed [name_f]Mira[/name_f] instead?
And I know exactly where you are coming from when you say you have a hard time with girl names. On my list of “Names I love” I have a total of 17 names for boys. And on girls, I have 3. I’ve been lurking on this forum for how long and I only have 3?! Whaaat? And also for the curious, they are [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Coraline[/name_f].

That’s perfect. There’s also [name_f]Eira[/name_f] pronounced eye-rah or ay-rah, which is Welsh for snow.
