Miroquinn - HONEST opinions

I like how Miroquin looks better but I want to pronounce it more like [name_m]Joaquin[/name_m] at first glance. I much prefer [name_m]Miro[/name_m] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Anson[/name_m] or [name_m]Miro[/name_m]-[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Anson[/name_m]

I have to agree with this too, sorry.

I’ve been sitting here for ages trying to put my finger on what throws my off about this name and I think I’ve got it. Miroquinn reminds me of a Pokemon name. Like Cyndaquil. It’s cool but hard for me to picture on a human. Is this name for a child, yourself, or something else?

Child

In that case I think it could make a good unique middle that he might choose to go by someday when he’s ready for it. [name_f]My[/name_f] friend’s 3 year old daughter has already started going by her middle name, but I think it was really empowering that she got to make the choice herself (and can choose to go back if she wishes).

I like [name_m]Miro[/name_m] but do not like any quinn names at all. Miroquinn sounds like micro-greens or a drug to me.

Not a fan honestly… it feels like a hard mesh of Mannequin and American. And then at second glance it looks like it should be a name of a medicine or something along those lines. Maybe drop the ā€œ[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]ā€ part or the [name_m]Miro[/name_m] part (altho I’m not really a fan of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] on a boy.

It looks just like Mannequin - that’s what I first read it as, and I can’t stop seeing it as that
I don’t like it. I don’t think [name_m]Miro[/name_m] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] sound good combined, and I don’t like the names separate, either. I’d put [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] in the middle spot, or just drop both names all together

I also agree that it kind of sounds like a drug

I honestly see Mannequin and can’t stop myself due to the lovely 1980s film by the same name. Too close for me.
