Mirren?

[name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to another episode of “[name_f]Eva[/name_f]'s Latest Name Obsessions.”

Right now, I’m obsessing over [name_u]Mirren[/name_u]. I recently read the book We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, and [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] is a character in it. (Highly recommend that book to other teenberries by the way!)

I really like [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] because it sounds soft and elegant. It reminds me of [name_f]Maren[/name_f], one of my favorite names, but I like the way [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] looks better. It’s not very popular, unlike my other girls’ faves. Plus it sounds kind of vintage to me - like an old gorgeous vintage mirror. :stuck_out_tongue:

What do you think? Also - do you think there would be pronunciation issues for non-name nerds? As always, your opinions are much appreciated.

I just think of the Japanese sushi rice wine…( [name_u]Mirin[/name_u])

It makes me think of classy actress [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_u]Mirren[/name_u]. That’s pretty much the only association I have of it. I don’t love it (it’s not really my style, to be fair) but I prefer it to [name_f]Maren[/name_f].

I think of the actress [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] too. I really like the idea of [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] as a first name

[name_f]My[/name_f] sister is named Meren.
