[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!
We need some suggestions for a MN for [name_u]Arlo[/name_u].
Our surname is two syllables, and my husband would prefer to use one of his family names for the MN of either [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] or [name_m]Kieren[/name_m].
The only problem is that all three names are two syllables. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think this is ok, or am I being a bit OCD with syllables?
Let me know what you think.
I think that either [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] would be great! I definitely think that family significance trumps flow, and whatever your surname is, I don’t think three two syllable names in a row will really be much of a problem. For me at least, it’s things like sounds blending together or repeating or clashing with each other that throw me off when it comes to flow rather than syllable count.
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] sounds handsome. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] feel a little bit different in style.
I don’t think have the same number of syllables is really a big problem. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] are both great names!
I think meaning trumps syllables every time. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] are both very handsome names! (You are lucky to have such gems in your family tree).
