It all depends on your surname, but I probably wouldn’t put a two syllable first name with a two syllable middle unless the surname was one syllable (e.g. [name]Jones[/name]), so I would go for maybe a three syllable middle (like [name]Valentine[/name] or [name]Emily[/name]) or a one syllable middle ([name]Rose[/name]/[name]Faith[/name]/[name]Grace[/name]).
I had [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Emily[/name] as a combo but OH vetoed [name]Beatrix[/name] : (
[name]Beatrix[/name] is 3 syllables for me, so I’d go for a 2 or 1 or 4 syllable middle. I’m trying to imagine how it’s 2 for the pp?
[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Primrose[/name] is best by that criteria or [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Clover[/name].
[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Clover[/name] is very St. [name]Paddy[/name]'s [name]Day[/name] to me. : D. And personally I don’t love [name]Clover[/name], but it’s fine to consider it.
I vote for [name]Primrose[/name] ultimately but do think [name]Beatrix[/name] is already whimsical enough and the simpler [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Rosa[/name] is lovely.
I think [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Valentine[/name] is 3-3, not great rhythm and [name]Valentine[/name] is a little too literal, but [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Valentina[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Valeria[/name] would both be related and 3-4.
[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name] Heart are also both nice and unexpected in my book.
I love the spunkiness of [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Clover[/name]
I think [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] would be a cute wink at Valentines day without being overly obvious and the flow / style is really nice.
I voted for [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Primrose[/name]. [name]Primrose[/name] is my favourite girls’ name. It’s soft, sweet and feminine. And I adore [name]Beatrix[/name], which is so cute and spunky. They’re a great combination! Also, you probably already know this, but primroses are February flowers, which subtly hints towards your daughter being a Valentines’ baby.
Best of luck!
I voted for [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Primrose[/name], although I agree with the pp who said that [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Rose[/name] has a better flow. Plus, I think roses have a more obvious link with Valentines [name]Day[/name] than primroses do.
[name]Love[/name] love love [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Primrose[/name]! It works to perfection!!! <3
I went for [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Clover[/name], but I love [name]Primrose[/name]. I also like the meaning if she’s your first girl.
[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Primrose[/name]!
I like the idea of giving little [name]Beatrix[/name] a [name]Valentine[/name]-related name, so I voted [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Amora[/name]. While it’s technically not [name]Valentine[/name]-related, it sounds so much like the French and Italian words for love (amour/amore prn’d uh-more-ay) that it seems that way to me. <3
I voted for [name]Beatrix[/name] Amora because it has such a pretty flow and feel for it and that it is slightly over the top but had the love connection of Valentines [name]Day[/name] in it.
All I see in [name]Primrose[/name] in prim, and therefore stiff and starchy and not very charismatic whereas Amora has romance and glamour in it and it goes with the spunky [name]Beatrix[/name] nn [name]Trixie[/name].
I like [name]Valentina[/name] and the combo I like is [name]Valentina[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] because it has a softer vibe than [name]Beatrix[/name].
[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Clover[/name] is trying to work but it just doesn’t make it imho.
[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Evanthe[/name] (which means good flower) would be a nice combo.
Or if you want something quirky and sweet I think [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] fits like a glove.
rollo
[name]Rollo[/name]… Its funny you mentioned bluebell as a good fit as it is my ULTIMATE favourite guilty pleasure mn!! I have considered it with quite a few other names on my list but thought the double ‘B’ in [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] was too much (I didnt want her name to sound like micky mouse, peter pan etc!!!)and so (reluctantly) decided to let it go as a combo with [name]Beatrix[/name]…perhaps not though? Does anyone else have opinions on this? perhaps i need a new thread
I would love to hear what others think of bluebell. I can’t understand why it isn’t more popular as it is a beautiful flower and it has the popular bell ending and I don’t see it as any more out there than [name]Dahlia[/name] and [name]Azalea[/name].
rollo
I voted [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Primrose[/name]. Great name!
It must differ by country/region. I know some people pronounce it “bee-a-trix”, which is 3 syllables. However, I also know many people (myself included) who pronounce it with just two syllables: “bee-trix”! Suppose how you say it would have a bearing on the middle name.x
