If it is [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], then she’s definitely my favourite - she feels like a sea flower after [name_f]Delphine[/name_f].

Elewen is pronounced ella-win, very similar to [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. But it means “glimmering starlight girl” in high Elvish (Tolkien fan…)

[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is amazing and by far my favorite. It flows right off the tongue for me, unlike your other combos.

[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] would be my second choice, but it feels a little clunkier and doesn’t have quite as nice of a mouth feel for me.

It’s clear that everybody loves [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]! While I agree that it is indeed beautiful, for me it doesn’t hold the meaning I’m looking for.

I love strong female hero names as a middle, and am trying to work a “star” name in as well (hence, [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]). However, having trouble finding names to pair with [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], I circled back to my first star pick, [name_f]Astraea[/name_f].

Thoughts on this combo?

Cybèle is the [name_m]French[/name_m] version of [name_f]Cybele[/name_f], pronounced sih-[name_u]BELL[/name_u]. I love the connection to [name_f]Delphi[/name_f], oracles and seers, and a mother goddess figure later adopted into Greek and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] mythology.

I went with Delphine Aurelia Odette & Delphine Andromeda Estelle as I like both Aurelia and Andromeda, and think of the four, these two flow best (especially the first). I also love Elewen & Artemisia, however, I don’t feel they flow as well in their combos as the aforementioned two.

  • Delphine Cybéle Astraea is lovely. I can’t say I’m overly keen on Cybele on her own, however, I quite like it here, pronounced this way, and Astraea is just gorgeous!
