[name_f]Eliette[/name_f] is a legitimate [name_m]French[/name_m] girls name so I would choose this spelling. [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] would be my favourite combos.
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] (and it’s variations) is all boy to me thus I would use the legitimate french girls’ spelling [name_f]Eliette[/name_f].
It’s more feminine and she won’t get confused with all the male [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] / [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] / [name_u]Eliot[/name_u]'s.
I think [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] [name_f]Viola[/name_f] sounds nice, you would still have the family connection but not the double “t” ending.
Other than that, I would choose either a very traditional girls middle name -> [name_f]Claire[/name_f]/[name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], etc.
Or a very girly name -> [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], etc.
Would Elliotte be too creative? It looks natural to name and adds just a hint of femininity. [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] is all boy to me, but ai know I am in the minority.
I absolutely love [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] are great too.
You’re definitely not in the minority, most people on here think of [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] only as a boys name, at least that’s what I got from several threads that were started over the last few months.
It’s on my boys’ list, that’s why it feels weird to see it considered as a girls name but to each their own I guess.
