I love the name [name]Freddie[/name] for a boys FN - I don’t like names like [name]Frederick[/name] or [name]Alfred[/name]. My granddad’s MN was [name]Fred[/name]. so were pretty set on [name]Freddie[/name] as the FN. I am welsh and my boyfriend is Irish. I don’t like older names or too unique names - No F or K Names as I don’t like repeating letters. - Surname begins with K and ends in ER.
I wanted peoples opinions on Middle Names for [name]Freddie[/name]. Names we like are:-
Names that are a No No:- [name]Harvey[/name], [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Lewis[/name], [name]Ethan[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Kyle[/name], [name]Riley[/name].
[name]Hi[/name]-
[name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Freddie[/name]. Adorable! It was on my list at one point too. Here are a few I thought of. If you could say some MNs that you like, or are considering, I think that would help give people a better idea of what you are leaning towards.
Och, can I just say that [name]Amy[/name]-[name]Louise[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] are adorable together? I’m usually for fuller names (it took me a while to get into [name]Frederick[/name] nn [name]Freddie[/name], though. I totally dig where you’re coming from), but [name]Amy[/name]-[name]Louise[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] are just… perfection. I like [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Dafydd[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Spencer[/name]… [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Leon[/name] would be nice, too, but for some reason I don’t love [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Dafydd[/name] [name]Leon[/name] all together. [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Rhys[/name]? I really like that, actually. Or something more classic, like [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] or [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Patrick[/name].
frances322 - I have got some names I suggested [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Dafydd[/name] [name]John[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Spencer[/name]. We also like [name]Stephen[/name] and [name]Edward[/name].
Out of the names you suggested only ones we liked was [name]Blane[/name] and [name]Mitchell[/name]. The others were too surnamey.
Thank you thatkathryngirl.
Flamingo - I like your suggestions [name]Reid[/name] I like but makes me think of reading a book. [name]Max[/name] - is my cousins little boys name. [name]Niall[/name] - my boyfriend ain’t keen on as its too close to [name]Neil[/name]. [name]James[/name] I said in original post names that are a no no this being one of them.
ashthrdreamer - thank you. - [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Dafydd[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Leon[/name] we like.
We like [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] but I prefer [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] [name]John[/name].
[name]Freddie[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] is nice but that name gives me goosebumps after being in school with 10 [name]Christopher[/name]'s.
Thanks [name]Kelly[/name]-
Went back and read your original post. So sorry I missed that!! That would have been helpful before replying. Anyway, good to know you don’t like surnames. I agree with previous posters, [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Spencer[/name] (and [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Stephen[/name]) doesn’t flow well, but I really like [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Dafydd[/name] [name]John[/name]- I think that is a beautiful name! Also, I’m not a fan of [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Edward[/name] together- I can hear the “ed” sound in [name]Freddie[/name] too much to then be followed by [name]Edward[/name]. I will contemplate and see if I have any more combinations to share. Good luck!
Yeah more names would be good as I have a fussy boyfriend.
Thank you [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Dafydd[/name] [name]John[/name] is my fave combo as [name]David[/name] [name]Fred[/name] and [name]David[/name] [name]John[/name] are my grandads names ([name]Dafydd[/name] welsh version of [name]David[/name]).
I don’t think that [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Stephen[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Edward[/name] went which was why I didn’t say them first of all.
What kind of names do you think would go with [name]Stephen[/name] and [name]Edward[/name] as MNs - other names we like are [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Corey[/name] and [name]Kieran[/name] - just so you know our kinda style in names.
What about using [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Rhys[/name]? It’s got a great flow and almost the same sound but this way it won’t give you the ‘read’ connection. I agree with a previous poster that one-syllable middle names sound especially great with [name]Freddie[/name]. [name]Freddie[/name] [name]Luke[/name], or even shortening your earlier combo to just [name]Freddie[/name] [name]John[/name] is great if you ask me. Most of the other names you like sound fine with [name]Stephen[/name] or [name]Edward[/name] as middles. Good luck! =]
