[name_u]Addison[/name_u]!

Probably against my better judgment, I’ve decided to add [name_u]Addison[/name_u] to my boys’ list. I don’t really expect it to be received well, but I’m a while from having kids, so maybe I’ll come to my senses by then.

I have a few ideas, but I’m still in the looking phase, so I’m wondering if anyone has anything better than what I’ve come up with so far. What would you pair with [name_u]Addison[/name_u]? Surname is similar to [name_m]Roberts[/name_m].

[name_f]My[/name_f] only requirement is that it be fully masculine, since [name_u]Addison[/name_u] is obviously unisex.

Thanks, ladies!

[name_u]Addison[/name_u] ( masculine ) “[name_m]Roberts[/name_m]:”

[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Joel[/name_m] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m]

Och, I love [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]! If I weren’t so set on keeping [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], I would totally consider that. I like that as much as the few ideas I’d had, if not more. :frowning: I also like the idea of [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] a lot, but I’m not sure it’s something I’d use? I like [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] as middles, too, but I don’t know that I’d use them. I was struck instantly by how handsome they are, but also by how they weren’t really “me”. I’d love to meet a little [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], though!

Hmmmm. What about:

[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]George[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_u]Kyle[/name_u]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Luke[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Keith[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Luther[/name_m]

Ha! [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is one of the ones I’ve been seriously considering. ) I like [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], too, but I’d probably stray away from the one-syllable suggestions, just because I’ll be adding a second middle (probably [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_m]Charles[/name_m], both of which honor family), and I don’t have a ton of longer family names that I could pair with something like [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]/[name_m]George[/name_m]/[name_u]Jude[/name_u].

I have noticed I like “L” middles with [name_u]Addison[/name_u] a lot, though. I am really loving [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (maybe even [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m], although I’m afraid it sounds too close to the girls’ name/nn, [name_f]Liv[/name_f]), and I even really quite like [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Linus[/name_m]…

I adore [name_u]Addison[/name_u] ob a boy! It’s so manly, all boy to me! It’s on my list too. I have seen recent male Addisons born too!

[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] Lyr
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Peter[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]George[/name_m] - mine
[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_u]Rio[/name_u]

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]?

@sabrinafair - haha, [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] was one of the other ones! I love [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_m]George[/name_m], too, but I’m not sure about [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] with [name_u]Addison[/name_u], and I don’t think [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/[name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] sounds particularly great…

@mill1020 - I love [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], but not often as a middle (although I’d be loathe to have a [name_m]Tom[/name_m]/[name_m]Tommy[/name_m], so I feel like I’d never use it!), but I do like [name_m]William[/name_m], in certain cases. I think [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] might be nice. I’ll keep it in mind. I was also reminded of my love for [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] when I looked at your signature–is [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] too “D” heavy? I think I like it. That, and [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], but that could end up sounding too hissy, and I already have [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] as a FN on my list…
