That’s the thing. I’m not entirely sure what the first name is. I like [name]Ellen[/name] AND [name]Gray[/name] for the MN so I’m trying to see what first name sounds better.

Now I see your poll. I voted for [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]. “[name]Gray[/name]” to me feels like a placeholder, the way previous generations chose [name]Ann[/name] or [name]Marie[/name]. Unless it’s a family surname or you have a really important personal connection to the color, I don’t care for the casual use of colors as names. And while I like [name]Temperance[/name] a great deal, I don’t think it flows too well with [name]Ellen[/name].

I prefer [name]Ellen[/name] to [name]Gray[/name], but my favourite combos are [name]Isla[/name], [name]Roselyn[/name] and [name]Lora[/name] with [name]Gray[/name].

I like [name]Ellen[/name] better than [name]Gray[/name] as a middle name- I agree that [name]Gray[/name] sounds more like a placeholder name. As a middle name, [name]Ellen[/name] flows well with a lot of names- I like all the choices you have, but voted for [name]Temperance[/name] :slight_smile:
