I’ve recently decided to add [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] to my list, and I’m really excited, because he seems perfect there, but, at the same time, I’m really stumped on combos! I’ve tossed around several ideas, but nothing’s really stuck. [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]/[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]/[name_m]Ilya[/name_m]/[name_m]Matvey[/name_m] are my favorites so far, but they still don’t seem right, and I’m not sure what actually would work with [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]. Any combo ideas, Berries? What works with [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]?

Some I had tossed around earlier (like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], etc.), and am not sure about (although [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is probably closest to the feel I was wanting, but I don’t actually like [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], and I have [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] at least one other combo–[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]!–and would rather not repeat.). I want to like [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] Qu!ncy, but there’s an annoying little kid that works where I do whose name is Qu!ncy, and so I think that’s off the table for me for a while.
@judyariel - I am toying with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m], now, thanks to you! I have been loving [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], and really wanted him as a MN, but I’m still not sure about [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. I’m holding onto it for a while, though, just to give him a chance. And [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]! That’s a pretty great combo, and [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] could honor both my grandma’s love of birds (even though falcons aren’t the type she usually goes for lol!) and my and my siblings love of [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the Rings! Definitely a contender now. I was hoping for a little spunk and unexpectedness for [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], anyway, and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] is pretty great! I think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] has become the MNs to beat…
@racheltheworm15 - sorry, [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]'s not really my thing. Handsome name, but I really wouldn’t use it. It reminds me too much of someone I know…
Before I even read your complete post for some reason [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_u]Emery[/name_u] came to mind… I recently had an acquaintance name her son [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and I really liked it!
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Matvey[/name_m] is nice too… but as you know I love [name_m]Matvey[/name_m] in the middle! LOL!

@maggiemary! [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is also fantastic! It’s also been added to the list of possibilities. I’m intrigued by [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], as well, but I don’t think I’d use it. I much prefer [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], and Aslan as Narnian characters to [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], even though he has really grown on me.
