[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I’ve gotten into the video game Hades and I’m obsessed with it! I love the protagonist Zagreus as a character a lot and I really like his name, but was wondering if there was a more modern name similar to Zagreus?

Zager is a surname. I’d suggest it.
As far as I know ther isn’t a modern version of Zagreus but I like the suggestion of [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] as an alternative.

I think zacceus is the closest as fuzzball mentioned, but I don’t think zagreus is necessarily unusable. And all the cute nicknames would help modernize it. Zag, zigzag, zaggi.

My son is a [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] and he gets Zachy for short. I think that’s the closest to that name.
