His name [name_m]Amias[/name_m] was chosen as a semi-honour name, having some similarity to his mother’s name without being a direct cognate. [name_m]Amias[/name_m] means “loved” because she wanted a virtuous name that wasn’t a direct name, just something affirming for her child to make him feel like he’s enough in the world without sounding too conceited or forcing him to feel a certain way with a virtue. His middle name [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], meaning “battle worthy” is the same way, to make him feel like like life’s challenges are nothing he can’t overcome. Both [name_u]John[/name_u] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are determined people and wanted their son to feel that while using familiar but not plain or overused names.
Yala [name_f]Eria[/name_f] [name_u]Rawley[/name_u] (35) is a mother-to-be expecting a child. Admittedly, she doesn’t have much planned regarding the birth and she is quite excited about the pregnancy, but she keeps motivating herself not to fall behind on plans. Yala got very excited upon learning her pregnancy and she’s Team [name_u]Green[/name_u] in terms of not knowing the gender and keeping the nursery gender-neutral. She does want her child to understand their gender but not to immediately force that gender on them, and promises to stop using “he/him” or “she/her” if the child tells her otherwise. Yala is a doctor and was raised by lawyers but she wants her child to feel whatever they’re comfortable with. Right now, she’s excited to have a baby in her life and is mostly focused on the infancy side of her child’s life, thrilled to have her child see the world and get accustomed to their first days of their life.
