Monroe for a boy?

I love the name [name]Monroe[/name] for a boy!

Does this “go” with [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Nora[/name]…? (As in are the styles too mitch matchy?)

What do you think of [name]Monroe[/name] in general?
[name]Do[/name] you think it will be too old fashioned with all the [name]Kyle[/name]'s and [name]Aiden[/name]'s? I love it because it is old fashioned, but I don’t want my son to have to be made fun of, or feel weird because of it.

Should I use a different spelling…?
[name]Munro[/name] ?
I like [name]Monroe[/name] the best… but I’m not sure.

Thanks!

  • p.s. I have had a couple people say my names are too matchy because they all have hard O sounds in them. I know this and am drawn to names like this… but do you think it is a problem?

I like the name [name]Monroe[/name] (definitely this spelling) and I think it sounds fine with [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Nora[/name].

Good luck!

I know a little 4 yr old [name]Munro[/name]. The name seems to fit in well with his generation’s surnamey type names.

[name]Monroe[/name] is just fine for a boy. It would also be great for a girl.
