I do love [name]Monroe[/name] for a girl before [name]Mariah[/name] and nick used it for their one twin.
I didn’t even know they had used it! I think its lovely and you should run with it!
not my style of name at all, but if you want to use it, I don’t think you should let the celebrity reference stop you.
I think it’s nice, but has always sounded masculine to me. I think it would make a nice middle for a girl though.

I thought it was a cute pairing [name]Roc[/name] & [name]Roe[/name] :P. And that be said don’t let celebrities dictate to name a kid something you truly love ;).
I really dislike [name]Monroe[/name] on a girl. I like [name]Marilyn[/name] but [name]Monroe[/name] is so masculine to me. There’s a male [name]Monroe[/name] on the show Grimm and even before that I loved it for a boy.

If you named a girl [name]Monroe[/name] people will think [name]Marilyn[/name], not [name]Mariah[/name]
