I think it does work for both but I personally like it more on a boy. I understand the [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] connection, but it’s her last name not her first name so it doesn’t affect how I perceive its gender really. If her name was [name_f]Monroe[/name_f] [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] then maybe, but it’s just a last name so it doesn’t really scream a gender either way to me in terms of the association.
