Hello all! I need to write a story for school that takes place in [name_u]Montana[/name_u]. I am struggling to find a name that will suit a teenage boy living there. A large portion of my family lives in [name_u]Montana[/name_u], and most of them are highly religious and or just have names that are not as common in urban settings. [name_f]My[/name_f] first thoughts were [name_m]Angus[/name_m] ([name_u]Gus[/name_u]) and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]. These names are pretty much perfect, except that my family will likely read this story and I am afraid these names will hit too close to home, as we have family and family friends with these names. If it helps, this story will take place in modern times; it’s not historical fiction. Thanks for your suggestions!
I think [name_u]Gus[/name_u] works, as it could also be short for [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]!
