Montana/Montanna

I’m really curious on your thoughts on the name Montana/Montanna.
It is my name and I personally don’t like it so don’t worry, your opinions will not offend me, haha.
I just feel that it has too much of a childish vibe because of HannahMontanaand it’s a place name (although I’m Australian so the state isn’t the first thing that comes to mind)

Also how do you pronounce them? Mine is spelled Montanaand pronounced with the ‘anna’ although I’m forever being called ‘Mon-tar-na’. People have even tried to convince me my name is not spelled correctly.

[name]Montana[/name] and [name]Montanna[/name] are pronounced the same here, mon-tann-uh. I don’t like it at all as a person name.

It’s not really my favorite place name.

Well, I’m not a big fan of place names, but as they go [name]Montana[/name] isn’t bad…the soft ‘ana’ ending makes it rather attractive.

I pronounce it mon-[name]TAN[/name]-uh.

I pronounce it mon-[name]TAN[/name]-uh too.
It’s really not all that bad.

Also not a fan of place names, but if I was going to use one I would spell it right ([name]Montana[/name] as opposed to [name]Montanna[/name]).

In the US, either spelling would be pronounced Mon-[name]TAN[/name]-uh or [name]Mont[/name]-[name]Anna[/name], never with an R sound. There isn’t an R in it! I prefer the spelling [name]Montana[/name] because that’s the correct spelling of the state name. I’m not a fan of this name, or place names in general.

makes me think of this girl who was on the real world in the late 90’s. not a big fan of it sorry
