So I’m set on [name_m]Monty[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] if this LO is a boy, but I’m having trouble with a middle name. My maiden name is [name_m]Fitzpatrick[/name_m] and DH is [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] so I thought of
[name_m]Monty[/name_m] Fitzchristopher [name_m]Brock[/name_m]
[name_m]Monty[/name_m] [name_m]Fitz[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]
[name_m]Monty[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]
[name_m]Fitz[/name_m] means “son of” for us Irish folk. Is it too jokey? [name_m]George[/name_m] is the only other family name i could think of. I have three girls with classic/old fashioned names.
Fitzchristopher- this is a cool way to honor both sides of the family. It looks kind of made-up (which I suppose it is) but anything can work as a middle name.
[name_m]Fitz[/name_m]- it’s a little bland to me.
[name_m]George[/name_m]- a good solid choice.
Other suggestions:
- [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]
- [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
I don’t know if you like unusual or classic, but considering [name_m]Monty[/name_m] is pretty unusual, I’m guessing you like leaning towards the unusual. Though having a classic name with a more unusual name is kind of cool.
This was hard, but this is my top 3 for you:
- Fitzchristopher (this is just so cool)
- [name_m]George[/name_m]
- [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] (a nice solid way to honor his daddy)
I hope this helps!
[name_m]Monty[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] is very handsome!
[name_m]Monty[/name_m] [name_m]Fitz[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] and [name_m]Monty[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] seems a little choppy to me so I think a longer name name would help.
I actually really like Fitzchristopher. Its a sweet way to honor everyone at once. I also like the suggestions above of [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] and [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. If you plan on one day having more than one child I’d use [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] for one child and [name_m]Fitzpatrick[/name_m]/[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] for another.
