Hey everyone, a little background quickly I had a miscarriage in February and I’ve recently looking at the possibility of having a very rare complication from the miscarriage that could mean I can’t have anymore kids. I awaiting scans to confirm. But in not giving up hope that I will be able to carry another baby in the future so I’ve come here to just be positive and talk names.
I’ve always been fixed on Otis and still am but recently met a little one called Monty and I thought wow that’s so cool. I actually named one of my cars Montgomery before and never thought it was a usable name these days but Monty really worked on him and it now has made it to me list.
So what are your opinions on Monty? I think Montgomery is too much especially but Monty just sounds cool and would age well with the child?
Thanks

Hello! So much love and prayers and support to you, that is so much to take in at once. I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. I’m so proud of you for being so positive and doing something fun for yourself right now!
I think [name_u]Monty[/name_u] is a super cute name. Some folks in the older generation MIGHT connect it to Mondy Python but I think it’s old enough now that few would make that association.
Take care!

[name_u]Monty[/name_u] is wonderful! Such a charming, cheerful name. a bit old-man-clunky-cute, but that feels cool! I’ve known one little [name_u]Monty[/name_u] and it suited him perfectly

I know one so my thoughts are biased lol. As a nickname absolutely would use 100% of the time. But I’m a huge fan of full names for professional purposes. Therefore I’d name him [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u].
I also know a young [name_u]Monty[/name_u] and it works just fine
[name_u]Montgomery[/name_u] sounds too aristocratic to me, but I find [name_u]Monty[/name_u] warm and friendly.
