Still not pregnant yet, doctor says it may not happen, but i’m still holding out hope that i’ll be a mom some day. <3
I love family names and honoring others with names, but as a name addict, i also have a very particular taste. i like names that are unusual or different. Fortunately the name that i REFUSE to budge on for a girl is Rowena. That’s my mother’s name. I won’t change the spelling, i won’t use a variant i won’t use her more popular middle name, Cristal. It will be Rowena.
i used to adore Rowena Skye… but have since fallen out of love with that one after the rise in popularity for Skye.
I will be happy to use Rowena either in the first or middle position for a little girl, but Rowena MUST be used.
That said, my hubby already has two children from his previous marriages: a daughter: Jillyan Avery (nn Jill) and a son: Kaleb Jaxon
I think that it would be really sweet to honor both of his children with a new baby’s name, should we miraculously conceive… so, i would not be opposed to a double or hyphenated middle name…
I like names that are unique and different. Something that’s not overly popular or likely to be trending anytime in the next ten years or so. Would like some suggestions for girl and boy names that make a nice sibset with his children and also honors them somehow.
As i said, i refuse to budge on Rowena, hubby agrees and likes it too. mn positions are wide open.
Boy names we like: Gabriel, Leander,
I also really like Curtis for my maternal grandpa who i adored and respected immensely, so working that in to a boy name would be ideal.
