More old names to ponder over

I have an affection for visiting cemeteries/mausoleums and finding inspiration from the unique, old names. Here are some that I’ve found recently:

Girls:

[name_m]Lael[/name_m]
Aredes
Louelle
[name_m]Heron[/name_m]
[name_f]Idalia[/name_f]
Livadia
[name_f]Florrie[/name_f]

Boys:

Alverly
Wicklow
Emerland
[name_u]Bevan[/name_u]
Lighlore
[name_u]Harbor[/name_u]
Hues

What do you think of these? Are any of them usable today? Which are your favorites?

Anyone? :frowning:

I see more potential for [name_f]Idalia[/name_f], Livadia, [name_u]Bevan[/name_u], [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] (although the jokes I can imagine with this one…), and Hues (I prefer [name_m]Hughes[/name_m]).

I quite like [name_m]Heron[/name_m], [name_f]Idalia[/name_f], Livadia & [name_u]Harbor[/name_u].

Aredes – Perhaps a gender-swapped, ‘misspelling’ of Biblical Aretas? If [name_m]Lael[/name_m] was put on a girl, Aretas could well have been too.
Hues – A ‘misspelled’ [name_m]Hughes[/name_m] perhaps?
