More questions

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys ,

I have some more questions -

  1. [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] or [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]? I like both but I don’t know if a [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] would age well.
  2. Is the name [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] too popular? I saw it was at #130 but I’ve only met 1 [name_f]Trinity[/name_f].
  3. [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] yes or no?
  4. What are your favourite southern girl names below the top #500?
  5. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name [name_u]Orion[/name_u] would work for a girl?
  6. Any suggestions for me based on my signature?

Thank you!!

  • I don’t really have much of a preference between [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]/[name_f]Fawn[/name_f]. I will say that I have met/known a few Dawns and all of them are my mom’s age, so [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] seems a bit dated, imo. [name_f]Fawn[/name_f], however, seems fresh and new, even if it isn’t really my style. So I would go with [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].

  • I have only known one [name_f]Trinity[/name_f], maybe met a few others, but it doesn’t seem too popular, necessarily.

  • No. Sorry, I just don’t care for [name_f]Ethel[/name_f].

  • Southern girl names? [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]…those are the only ones I’ve got that seem ‘southern’ in feel and style.

  • [name_u]Orion[/name_u] is 100% boy, imo.

  • Suggestions? [name_m]How[/name_m] about…[name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Cosette[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_u]Delaney[/name_u], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Jade[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_u]Paisley[/name_u], [name_u]Peyton[/name_u], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_u]Riley[/name_u], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Zara[/name_f]?

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] I could be of some help:)

  1. [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] or [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]? I like both but I don’t know if a [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] would age well. [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is adorable and swoon-worthy! [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] doesn’t flow nearly as well.
  2. Is the name [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] too popular? I saw it was at #130 but I’ve only met 1 [name_f]Trinity[/name_f]. I’ve never meant any [name_f]Trinity[/name_f]'s.
  3. [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] yes or no?
  4. What are your favourite southern girl names below the top #500?
    [name_f]Serafina[/name_f], [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_u]Pepper[/name_u], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Dixie[/name_f], [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f], [name_f]Suellen[/name_f],
    [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Imogene[/name_f], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_u]Finch[/name_u], [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Nessie[/name_f], [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_u]Reed[/name_u], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Zadie[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], [name_f]Judith[/name_f],
    [name_f]Ardith[/name_f]
  5. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name [name_u]Orion[/name_u] would work for a girl? A little biased of an opinion because [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is on my girl’s list, but yes. It could, theoretically.
  6. Any suggestions for me based on my signature?

[name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_u]Carter[/name_u], [name_u]Carson[/name_u], [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], [name_u]Skylar[/name_u], [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u], Runa, [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], Rossa, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Hallie[/name_f], [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_u]Henley[/name_u], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_u]Ellington[/name_u], [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], [name_f]Gianna[/name_f], [name_u]Dallas[/name_u], [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f], [name_f]Josefine[/name_f], [name_f]Violetta[/name_f], [name_f]Cae[/name_f], [name_u]Skye[/name_u], [name_f]Danielle[/name_f], [name_f]Cosette[/name_f], [name_f]Cristina[/name_f], [name_f]Avril[/name_f], [name_u]Arden[/name_u], [name_f]Valerie[/name_f], [name_f]Briony[/name_f],

Thank you guys! You’ve made me feel a bit better about [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] and [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. Keep the answers coming guys!

  1. [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] I think is a little dated. I also agree that [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] is fresher and I think would be okay with regards to how it ages.
  2. I’ve never met a [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] so I’d say it isn’t to popular.
  3. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] really don’t care for [name_f]Ethel[/name_f].
  4. I also really love [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] but not sure what a good nn for it would be. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] I like a lot as well as [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. However I never found any nn for them that I really loved. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] would be a pretty middle maybe even first.
  5. [name_u]Orion[/name_u] is to harsh for a girl in my opinion. All boy.
  6. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_m]Eugene[/name_m]??

Sadly I can’t use [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] as she would most likely go by [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] but I occasionally go by [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] so that wouldn’t work. I really like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]. Keep the suggestions coming.

  1. I prefer [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] - it’s not common enough to be associated with a particular age whereas [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is a little dated for my taste.
  2. I think [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] is fine - it’s familiar but I wouldn’t say common. I think it probably ranks so highly because it’s probably used a lot in religious communities and isn’t overly common outside of them.
  3. Yes yes yes
  4. I don’t know any ‘southern girl names’ - I’m from the UK sorry
  5. No, but Arion probably would. Again, it’s a name from Greek mythology and is originally male but I don’t think it’s known well enough to be tied to a gender.
  6. [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], [name_f]Coraline[/name_f], [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_m]Euston[/name_m], [name_m]Robert[/name_m]
  1. [name_m]Ive[/name_m] honestly never met a [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] or a [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] but I think I’d prefer [name_f]Fawn[/name_f], especially with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
  2. I think that as long as a name isnt in the top 100 its not too popular at all
  3. Yes!!! I adore this combo, [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] is beautiful and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] gives this classy name a fun vibe
  4. I dont think I know any, sorry
  5. Not really, it does sound very male to me
  1. [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] or [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]? I think I suggested [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] in the rate my signature thread, so I am definitely partial to that. I think [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is a little dated, and [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] feels fresh and modern.

  2. Is the name [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] too popular? I’m not in the States, but I think [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] seems to be falling in popularity, and so I think it would be okay.

  3. [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] yes or no? I think [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] might be a bit hard as a first name in this day and age, but maybe [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] or [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] would work instead?

  4. What are your favourite southern girl names below the top #500?
I’m not in the States, so I might not be spot on with what a ‘southern’ name is, but…
    Double names are my GP so names like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]/[name_f]Coralee[/name_f], [name_f]Maybelle[/name_f], [name_f]Maribelle[/name_f], [name_f]Christabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Emmylou[/name_f], Lulamae and then [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Bettina[/name_f], [name_f]Cricket[/name_f], [name_f]Dixie[/name_f]/[name_f]Trixie[/name_f], [name_f]Edie[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f]/[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Imogene[/name_f] (though I prefer [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]), [name_f]Luella[/name_f], [name_u]Pepper[/name_u], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Zadie[/name_f]

  5. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name [name_u]Orion[/name_u] would work for a girl? No, it’s too harsh-sounding

  6. Any suggestions for me based on my signature?
    The ones suggested above, although not the double names I imagine, and then [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Louisiana[/name_f], [name_f]Aloysia[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Jolene[/name_f], [name_f]Nella[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]

  1. Out of the two, [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Fawn[/name_f], but prefer [name_f]Fauna[/name_f]. [name_f]Fauna[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] would be gorgeous!
  2. I know two [name_f]Trinity[/name_f]'s, both in Middle School though but that’s the age group that I’m around all the time. But I wouldn’t think that it’s too popular.
  3. [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is a great name, I love [name_f]Ethel[/name_f]!
  4. [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Odette[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], & [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
  5. [name_u]Orion[/name_u] is all boy.
  6. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Jade[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

I love the name [name_f]Fawn[/name_f]! That was my friend’s name growing up, and I’d say it’s aged well! Still seems fitting for her: sweet and strong.
