Also, please tell me your thoughts/feelings about all of them
I really like Rayna (nn Rayny/Rainy). It’s a dignified, happy name that will age really well. Then Ravenna which I hadn’t heard of but is closest to the length and style of your others. Only downside is the “raving” nn, but hopefully Ravi / Rav would stick. Ravi is cool. I said on a previous post - still think Raven doesn’t quite match the set and paints a darker quality on the names but I get why it’s appealing with the Haven sounds and Rae possibility. I just personally find it too much/stylised and not the best ageing name, but it is pretty.
Other options might be Romilly nn Romy (if not too close to Rosemary?) or Ruth nn Ruthie. Maybe even Rumina or Romina which gives Rumi a bit more length like the others.
[name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] is my favourite. Have you thought about Rowenna or [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f]?
[name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] is gorgeous and feels like a great fit with the siblings, despite being incredibly rare and unexpected.
I also really like [name_f]Rumi[/name_f], but I’d be put off by the fact that Beyoncé and [name_u]Jay[/name_u]-Z used it a couple of years ago.
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f], Rumina, [name_f]Romina[/name_f] (or [name_f]Romola[/name_f]), Rowenna and [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] are also beautiful suggestions.
I also love [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], but I agree that [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is too close to [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Milly[/name_f] as a nn, but my husband does not care for it lol.
He is really rooting for [name_u]Raven[/name_u], but I share the concern that it might be too dark. I do love the sound of it though. [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] is a city in [name_f]Italy[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is an all time fave, and would probably be the winner, but my sister-in-law already snatched it up
I don’t love the sound of Rumina or [name_f]Romina[/name_f]. [name_f]Rumi[/name_f] would be named after the poet - although I also share the concern about the [name_u]Jay[/name_u]-Z and Beyoncé association.
We are sticking with the [name_f]Rayna[/name_f] spelling over [name_f]Reina[/name_f], because [name_f]Rayna[/name_f] is a Hebrew name which means “song of the [name_m]Lord[/name_m]”.
Rowenna and [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] are okay, I just don’t love them. Same with [name_f]Renata[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Romola[/name_f], but my husband does not lol.
Please continue to leave more R name suggestions, the ones you all have been giving are strong
I was going to suggest [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] - very pretty - but [name_f]Roxy[/name_f] a little to close to [name_m]Rocky[/name_m] so good you don’t love it.
My fave R name besides the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names, [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] etc is [name_f]Rafaela[/name_f] but I’m not sure it’s as good a match for you as [name_f]Rayna[/name_f] and [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f]! I really think one of those two will be great.
I love the name [name_u]Raven[/name_u]! I feel like because your other children have nicknames, this little girl would also need a nickname. I like the nickname “[name_u]Ray[/name_u]”.
Other ideas:
Rayen “[name_u]Ray[/name_u]”
Revelyn “[name_u]Reeve[/name_u]”
[name_u]River[/name_u] “[name_f]Rivvy[/name_f]”
Royalty “[name_u]Royal[/name_u]”
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] “Ru”
I adore [name_f]Rayna[/name_f]. I like it best over the other choices, though [name_u]Raven[/name_u] is a close second. I think she goes well with her older siblings while still retaining some autonomy.
I like [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] a lot, as well as [name_u]Raven[/name_u]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]?
