What are your initial thoughts on these names?

[name_m]Prentice[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- Reminds me of Agent [name_m]Prentiss[/name_m] from Criminal Minds and the word Apprentice. It feels a bit more word than name to me.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Drummond[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Drum[/name_m] meets diamond. Feels very masculine to me, but I like breaking the gender mold.

[name_f]Kismet[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I like the meaning and feel like this name stands out even among your list, but has a pleasant sound and a good energy

[name_f]Venture[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] the concept of venturing forth, but also strongly associate this word with venture capital.

[name_f][/name_f]

Bacall [name_f][/name_f]- I can see the vision, though this isn’t entirely my style. Old Hollywood meets cowboy.

[name_f][/name_f]

Bessinger [name_f][/name_f]- I like Bessinger. The [name_f]Bess[/name_f] syllable grounds it and makes it feel more namey to me.

[name_f][/name_f]

Chenoweth [name_f][/name_f]- A bit too tied to [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] for me, though she seems like a lovely person. I personally hesitate to use living celebrity names because you never fully know if their name could be associated with a future scandal. However, Chenoweth has a really lovely sound.

[name_m]Taurus[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- Interesting. I like [name_m]Taurus[/name_m] the more I think about it, and it’s unexpected as a name, but familiar.

Duffell [name_f][/name_f]- A bit too close to Duffle bag for me, though I do like [name_m]Duffy[/name_m].

[name_f]Tempest[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Probably my favourite on the list. I like the association with storms and literature, and the t beginning and ending. I think it also has a great sound.

[name_f][/name_f]Bessinger because of that [name_f]Bess[/name_f] sound. Chenoweth and Bacall are also familiar and approachable as girls names due to their associations with female celebrities.

[name_m]Prentice[/name_m], [name_f]Venture[/name_f], and Duffell do feel a bit too wordy for me personally.

[name_m]Taurus[/name_m] and [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] are my personal favourites, and I think Bessinger has a lot of appeal as well.

The ones I really like are [name_m]Prentice[/name_m], [name_m]Drummond[/name_m], [name_f]Kismet[/name_f], [name_m]Venture[/name_m], and [name_f]Tempest[/name_f]!

[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Prentice[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- reminds me of the surname in some dystopian novels and i really like the regality of it
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Drummond[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- more neutral on this one, but I know someone with the last name and she’s a very strong and powerful woman. I like the arid-desert-rebellion-warrior vibes.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Kismet[/name_f][name_f][/name_f]- so happy and sweet!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Venture[/name_m]-[name_f][/name_f] what a lovely thing to be named after. I’d be ecstatic if my name were [name_m]Venture[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f]Bessinger[name_f][/name_f]- this is cute [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Bess[/name_f] would be an adorable nickname!!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Tempest[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I’d easily use this name. It’s very strong and I’ve read many books with protagonists named [name_f]Tempest[/name_f]. It also reminds me of [name_f]Temperance[/name_f] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m] from Bones [name_f][/name_f] which, for me, is a super positive association.

[name_f][/name_f]Chenoweth[name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I’m completely neutral on this one, it just doesn’t really sound like a name to me! and if I imagine a little Chenoweth I imagine a more preppy wealthy boy, if that makes sense? just me though!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Taurus[/name_m][name_f][/name_f]- I LOVE the idea but realistically I think it’s too tied to the zodiac sign for irl use :frowning:

[name_m]Prentice[/name_m] → weirdly, when I was doing your ‘name some siblings’, I was thinking [name_m]Prentice[/name_m] for you :grin:[name_f][/name_f] I like the sound and it has an that cowgirl vibe

[name_m]Drummond[/name_m] → has a slightly preppy air to it, but tough too. However, it makes me think of [name_m]Bentley[/name_m] [name_m]Drummond[/name_m] from Great Expectations

I’d keep [name_m]Prentice[/name_m], [name_f]Kismet[/name_f], [name_m]Venture[/name_m], [name_m]Taurus[/name_m], and [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I love their spark and brightness, with breezy coolness

I’d personally lose Bacall, Duffell, and Chenoweth as I’m struggling with them as names (could change)

@Wittyusername103 ah okay, thank you! - it could grow on me, I think. I’d been saying it like BAY-cal or BAK-al, but ba-call holds more appeal
