I am slowly trying to get SO on board with the name [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. He says if it means that much to me then he’s ok with it but it’s not his favorite of our other shortlisted names: [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] (becoming an epidemic in our area) and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] (in close contention with [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] but having a hard time finding the perfect middle name)
[name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for overall feedback on both [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] itself along with the combo of [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]. Also does [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] ([name_m]Zac[/name_m]) make a good sibset?
I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy and I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] has an excellent flow to it. Very handsome! I’m cautious about using a name that your husband is only ok with. If he prefers [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] or [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] would be incredibly handsome. Not sure how it would work with your surname, but thought I’d just suggest it.
I like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] a lot! [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is nice too, though I do know one [name_m]Zachariah[/name_m] who really likes the easy common nickname/more unusual long name. I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] & [name_m]Zac[/name_m] are a little bit awkward sounding as a sibset, but people really make the names, and it could totally work!
I’m really torn on this because in my head [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] should work since it is a male name but in reality I have known so many Morgans who are girls that it’s almost impossible. That being said I do love the name in general and if I met a little boy with the name it might change my mind about it. [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is just screaming [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] at me unfortunately. I would go with a name that has absolutely no female variation of it like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m], but that’s just me. I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] will absolutely be assumed to be brother and sister and I suggest continuing with a sort of “unisex” theme - [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_u]Peyton[/name_u], etc.

Names usually take a bit of time to grow on SO and we’ve just been talking about [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] over the last few days and he already seems to be warming up to it more and more so I think eventually he’ll come to like it. He usually doesn’t like any name at first unless it’s your typical [name_m]Joe[/name_m], [name_m]Jeff[/name_m], [name_u]Chris[/name_u], [name_m]Brian[/name_m] type of name haha
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] or [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] would be one of my absolute top choices except that I’d be nervous to use both my favorite names on one boy if there was still a chance to maybe have another boy eventually! I agree it is incredible handsome
I don’t like mentioning this when you didn’t ask, but don’t feel like you’re limited to unisex names for another boy. [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] sound like brothers to me. Some people are just fussy about “unisex” names - like boys can’t have one.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is a really solid, handsome combo. I really like it.
I totally agree with you about not being limited to only using unisex names for another boy. There aren’t any other unisex names I like enough to use as a first name anyway so I’m not gonna stress about painting myself into a corner by potentially using [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. Ironically our favorite girl name is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] nicknamed AJ haha I don’t love either name because they’re unisex though; I just love how they sound and feel to me and that’s what matters. They make my heart happy
I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]! My strongest association with [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is [name_m]Derek[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] from Criminal Minds, so it feels very masculine to me.
I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is a great name! And, yeah, I think [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] could be [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]'s brother. I actually think of [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] as way more of a boy’s name than a girl’s, so I wouldn’t find it confusing. Besides, it’s very hard to assume things like that these days, what with more girls having more and more masculine names every year and all. Anyway, [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is a good choice for a boy, imo. I would stick with it.
