Morgan for a boy?

I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy! It honestly seems quite gender neutral to me, but I didn’t really grow up with any Morgans, unless it was their surname, and the most memorable [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] I met was a really cute little boy with the name! (His baby brother was [name_u]Murray[/name_u], which I thought was just as awesome!) And now I have a friend who’s a massive fan of a hockey player named [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Rielly[/name_m], so. [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] on a boy seems more cool than cringeworthy, although I understand your hesitation because [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] are on my boys’ list, and [name_u]Addison[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u], and [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] have been in the past! I think you can be as openminded about unisex names as you want, but that doesn’t change the opinion and harsh words that others might have. :frowning:

I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is one of the most usable, rugged, intelligent, kind unisex names out there, though, and I’d love to meet many more little boy Morgans! I don’t think it’d be too hard to pair non-unisex names for brothers (I think like… [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Murray[/name_u], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], etc., are all super cool! [name_f]Zara[/name_f] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] I think seem pretty distinctive, but I think the problem with [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] is that I can definitely see [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] or [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] or [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] as sisters in the 1990s so that makes it harder! Since [name_f]Zara[/name_f] is more modern, I think that helps set apart the genders of [name_f]Zara[/name_f] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], but I think throughout time people will just learn that [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]'s a boy not a girl, and adjust, no matter what you use? I don’t know if that’s helpful or not though lol. Good luck!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy. I personally know a few [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]'s (nn Morg) and it all fit’s their personalities very well. I think when you get to the point to having children you can’t stress about what other people are going to think of your “matchy” names. I also love the Unisex names. Its a trend that I am obsessing over myself. Some names from your signature that I like and also some others to consider:

[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
[name_f]Hallie[/name_f]

[name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_u]Peyton[/name_u]
[name_u]Layne[/name_u]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u]
[name_u]Shay[/name_u]

My cousin has a son named [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. His siblings are [name_u]Elias[/name_u] & [name_f]Veronica[/name_f].
He is 9 years old and never gets teased. Why would he?
These kids grow up with kinds of names around them. They’re not all hyper masculine or super conservative any more.

I have a cousin named [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], and she is a girl. But I like the name [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy just fine. I also like other unisex or more often female names, [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], [name_u]Lane[/name_u], etc for boys as well.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy, it’s always seemed very masculine to me. I think, when it comes to teasing, [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] will be fine. There are so many crazy names in this generation of kiddos, I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] will fly under the radar hahaha
