So AF is about week late and I bought a test and I am very anxious and can’t wait. Should I try now or just try to chill out? Is there a massive change between morning and night?

I don’t think it makes a huge difference whether you test in the morning or at night, but in general it’s said that in the morning it’s better (using your first morning urine). I guess that if you’re pregnant and you test at night the test will be positive anyway. There’s not a massive change, maybe a slight difference in the amount of pregnancy hormones in your urine.

At a week late it shouldn’t matter when you test. Using the concentrated morning urine is more important when you’re testing before AF is due. You can also hold it for several hours to make sure it’s a bit more concentrated if you’re worried about getting a false negative. For what it’s worth, I tested the night before AF was due and had a very, very dark line. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helps!
Thank You! I thought it wouldn’t matter too much but I was so busy tonight with family friends popping in that I didn’t get a chance 
Exactly as @northernlights said. After your expected period time of day does not matter. Before, morning urine is preferable otherwise the hormone levels might not be high enough to read as positive.
