I am not a fan of place names on people, though I know I’m in the minority on here. However, that aside, Moscow actually sounds feminine to me – more like a name for a girl than for a boy.

I think it’s great, I love place names for people. My middle name is [name]Brooklyn[/name], and my daughter’s is [name]London[/name]. I have to agree with catheyc, it does sound a bit feminine, but hey, [name]Shannon[/name] used to be a boy’s name. Seriously.

Any name containing ‘cow’ is a risky move regardless of gender.

I don’t know how Moscow sounds feminine. It’s pretty harsh-sounding and… Russian to me.

Moscow sounds feminine to me. But all that comes to mind are a whole lot of cow jokes. I think the kid would hate it.

it doesn’t sound feminine to me, but it doesn’t sound like a name for a person either.

I don’t know why people are saying it sounds feminine, because it sounds masculine to me. But it doesn’t sound usable for a person. Too many cow jokes. Plus it’s just sort of gruff and unpleasent sounding.
